so lucky they got it on camera. noone would believe that
its not made to be a production bike, so theres no need to complain about how expensive it is. they know no ones going to drop that kind of money on a bike to only use on the pump track. but specialized has the money and resources to do these kinds of projects, and by doing this they learn things that they can use on their production bikes. this is just how innovation happens.
and while none of us are ever gonna own one think about how much fun that'd be to ride.... looks damn fast
carnation instant breakfast. breakfast of champions
the music was epic and the narration almost made me cry. told the story of my introduction to mountain biking and relationship with my first bike. turning the sound off is a slap in the face to a beautiful piece of art
i understand that each person is different in the flats/clips topic but let me say this. in my experience, riding clipped in does not make you more likely to crash, nor does it make a crash any more gnarly if it does happen. if you need to take your foot off, it comes off just as fast. and i assure you if you do crash, its gonna unclip. i feel like i get more control from clips, and i understand that some may disagree. but i don't think fear is a valid reason to avoid clips. i actually feel way safer on clips whether its fr, dh, am, xc or what
160 front and rear
porcupine rim is the most fun trail i have ever ridden. and it looks like thats where the downhill race takes place. needless to say i want to go
that bike is sick. no question about it, id probably spend most of my time staring at it too, and if i saw it in a lift line id definitely stop to say something. theres a picture of him looking at it, but that doesnt mean the 99% of the time he wasnt riding it. this guys living the dream
ive got the stumpjumper evo with 150mm 32 float and im thinking of doing the same thing. i really think itd be worth the weight penalty
